I understand that you feel disappointed @Fawkes, but I'm sure you know that recovery from MH issues is not linear, there's almost always ups and downs or spirals. I actually started a thread called Snakes and Ladders because I wanted to see what other people's experiences of the ups and downs were.
I'm glad you're engaging with DBT though.
Are you saying you'd rather not connect with other people or that you'd rather not connect regarding a MH issue?
Connection is a fundamental human trait as we are social animals, so connecting is a normal part of life, however some people do find connection difficult.
The SANE forums is definitely a place to reach out and try to find connection and understanding. I'd be happy to chat with you about what's happening for you as I'm sure others would.
I hope you are able to reach a place where you feel ok about reaching out and can be more open, if you wish, on the forums.
