You are here and please don’t think you have to justify it.
I have done environmental work and volunteered at the local zoo. Being in touch with nature can be healing but I hear you are feeling deep desolation.
Often mourning pets is as difficult as people, especially if they have been close and we have been isolated. Listen to your spirit and soul with care. I have had a lot of grief. Different things help different people. Whether it is music or art or craft? Sometimes we do need the quiet time. But some connections help. I like my local supermarket. It is small and friendly. We all grieve differently. Honour your memory but also honour your self.

@Alice11 watching video clips can be a good distraction. That's understandable not being able to commit to it right now, maybe things will change in the future and you can get back to doing it.
Do you catch up with your friends sometimes or see your family?

@Alice11 that's nothing to feel guilty about. Like @Appleblossom said we all grieve in different ways and losing pets can be just as hard if not harder than losing family members.
I always have music on 😊.

@Alice11 it's good that you have your sister that you catch up with occasionally. We as humans need that connection with others even if it's only sometimes. Are you looking for a place of your own when you have to move?

Grief is so complex and is usually related to the whole relationship. @Alice11 If you are dealing with 4 griefs, it will probably be a while to untangle all the feelings. Sometimes it can be like being hit with a double whammy…. Or like a trauma response … triggers cascade and it is cumulative.
Journaling can help…. By recording thoughts and feelings… and to externalise … often the emotion and emphasis can shift over time
I have found hope… can spring up when we aren’t expecting… but it also can be elusive…

@Alice11 hopefully you can find something. Then maybe you can start doing the wildlife caring again 😊.
