you can get a reassessment done faster if you call and tell them theres been progression on a condition or shes needing more supports, that also includes family struggles as well. i think i got pop progressed very quickly when i said i was struggling and i cant do 2 hour a week of support and he needs alot more @Snowie it might be worth mentioning more support is needed and urgently. they might hurry the assessment up for you or increase the package for now till then
yeah thats roughly what it is here too. pop gets about 120 a fortnight left over to spend on whatever he likes.

Will certainly look into it. It has gotten a lot harder on me and she can't really wait such a long time without the support.

I did speak to a lady today and she has put her on the short wait list, so hopefully it doesn't take too long.

Things are just difficult here, just want to throw in the towel. Go someplace where I have no responsibilities and no one knows me.

i am thinking about getting my diploma in counselling but there are a few skills courses im looking at as well that would help me as a support worker

Have a wedding coming up and away for 2 nights (in another state). Am worried how she will take that. Knowing her she will make me feel guilty for going.

I could so see you as a counsellor hon. You would make such a good one. You have always been the type of person to give to others.
