Hey @tyme
Hope your day is going well.
Finally after a long break I got to talk to my psych over telehealth.
Was good to unload a lot of things and get her opinion. It did help.
Am off tonight on our Trip for the next 12 days. Not sure yet if I'll be able to access the forums over there. If not, sending lots of wishes to everyone.
See you all when I get back.

Hey @Snowie not sure this will be through to your emails, but was thinking of you this morning. Whether you’re flying down ski fields, exploring the streets of Japan or having a blast at Disneyland. Hope you’re lapping up the Japanese culture and having the best time! 💕

Hi all my friends
Came home earlier today.
Was an amazing trip with lots of lasting memories. Spent about a week at the snow which is incredible compared to the snow we get in Aus. Thought I had experienced snow before but this was just of the scale. The snow was higher than I was. Walking through it was so difficult. Luckily I had proper snow shoes. In the main streets it was a bit easier. They had heated footpaths and roads so the snow melted so easier to walk! They think of everything. Did so many different things there. A highlight would have been a powder tour that we did. Learnt how to ski in the powder snow which we don't get here. Ate lots of different things. Not sure what some of it was however!!
Then spent 3 days in Tokyo. Needed at least a week there too. Was about 50 times the size of Melbourne with so many people. Did a few things there and of course tried all the local cuisine!
We walked heaps a day and didn't feel like we made a dint in the city. [edited by moderator]
Didn't make it to Disney Land @Bow 😔 Just not enough time.
That is on the list for next year 😁
Highlight of Tokyo was this light show we saw. Spent about 3 hours there. Just amazing.
Accommodation was good. Had our own room in both places so was able to escape when I needed some downtime and some time alone. Sometimes just being around everyone was a lot so used it well.
However, finally made it home today and no luggage 🤦♀️ It is stuck in Hong Kong (had a layover there). Meant to be coming in tomorrow morning and delivered to home. Hopefully I get it back. Don't really care about my clothes (I can replace them) But it has all the things I brought for my kids in there. Can't replace those.

Now back to the norm. Have to organise a driving test for mum, she's an appt. with eye specialist on Friday, few other things to sort out. She had a huge fight with her sister too so need to spend some time talking to her about everything thats happened.
The break was nice while it lasted.

Thanks @Jynx Straight back into it
On a totally other subject. I read a book called Fearless by Jelena Dokic. It is her second book she has written. You don't need to read her first book to read the second one.
It is about her mental health and getting help for it. She was diagnosed with PTSD, anxiety, depression and BPD.
I can't recommend it enough. It has so much good advice, how she improved her mental health and came back from suicide attempts.
I kept taking photos of different pages as there was so much I wanted to remember from it.
Not sure if we have a book page/club but certainly worth it.
