I usually scrape it back and up into a messy bun and hope for the best!

However, I do have buckets full of elastic bands in the stables for the horses.

So I steal theirs when I loose all of my own.

Hey, maybe you know the answer. How do you stop rubber bands from rotting and falling apart?

Great question @tyme 

With horses rubber bands I keep them in ziplock bags, within air tight containers in my stables fridge.

I learnt when I worked with horses in the UK that if you keep them in air tight bags within containers and away from UV light/sunlight and in cool to cold temperatures.

So I've been doing it with my own now too...but I do occasionally get some questions when someone goes to my fridge🤣

But it works really well.

I'm full of useless knowledge, haha!!
