Hurtful experiences

I really hope that noone ever has to go through the things I've been through and hear the things I've been told especially when it comes to reaching out for help.

Hearing from crisis services that they don't know how to help you, that there's nothing they can do for you, that your situation is too complicated, that you aren't trying hard enough, that you are wasting their time, told that you are a lost cause. It hurts so much when you are trying so hard to get yourself through dark times.

I didn't ask to be in this situation, I didn't ask to be sexually, physically and emotionally abused on a daily basis, i didn't ask to be bullied throughout my life, I didn't ask to be put down by my own mother, i didn't ask to be born into the world.

All I ever wanted was to have peace, to be heard and cared for, to feel wanted and needed, to not be hurt constantly, to just live.

But none of that matters, it doesn't matter how i feel or what i want.

I hope none of you have these experiences cos each and every one of you deserve to be loved, cared for, listened to, shown kindness and compassion, to be helped through your journey and the dark times.

It shows real strength and courage to open yourself up again and be vulnerable in reaching out after everything you've been through @Gremlin24

What's even more impressive is that you're still able to reach out even after having experiences with supports where you didn't feel heard. I hope you can feel heard and supported here 💙

Thanks @Ru-bee. I guess I'm just hopeful that maybe one day something will change.

Here is the one place that I've always felt heard and supported. ❤️

Re: Hurtful experiences

That's horrible to hear that a crisis service would say those things. You've shown a tremendous amount of courage in your resilience to keep trying and I just wanted to say I hope you never lose that. If no one else has said it today, everyone deserves to feel loved, cared and listened.
