The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

@MJG017 oh that sounds divine!! And the clear roofing? OMG my cats would LOVE that!

Hmm suddenly I'm having an idea... A plastic dome kinda thing, fitted over a window so it's like a bubble on the outside - the top and bottom are flat and you can put bird seed on the top and the cats can sit inside and watch!

Surely someone has invented this already...

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

One of the regulations where I live limits size of things and locations items are placed, all about clear access to front and back if needed by emergency services.  If I could I would have from back of the unit to the back fence turned into cat enclosure.

One option I’m thinking of is automated alfresco awnings for variety of reasons.  I don’t have horizontal beam over longest section of alfresco, this possibly causing issues.

other option I’ve thought of is cat enclosure that will need cat tunnel plus cat door.  One I prefer are very sturdy as made from galvanised steel and am able to buy different accessories.  Not sure my 2 would use it.

Re: The Sane Cattery: Because normal is overrated

Here are the three void babbies that keep me sane.

Leila, the unquestioned matriarch:

She was rescued from a storm and spent her first few months in a vets being carried everywhere. To this day if there's a storm or loud noise she'll come running in and cry to be held, because as soon as she is in my arms, she is safe:

This is her 'little' brother Lorcan:

He's part Mayne Coone, and thus huge (about 7 kgs). He is also very cuddly and very possessive:

He has a bit of an overbite so gets frequent and adorable bleps:

And finally the youngest, Luna:

Not many pics yet both because haven't had her very long, and because she refuses to stay still. She fears neither god nor consequences, regularly enjoying such activities as:
- chasing sister
- destroying rolls of toilet paper

- chasing sister

- eating cardboard boxes

- stealing hairtyes

- chasing sister (3am edition)

- stealing webcams

She is full of energy and looks like she may be part Siamese, so may grow to be as big as her brother. Gods help us.

Hello and welcome @Nerys

What a gorgeous group you've got there! Luna reminds me of my boy Ollie who is also full of beans and loves to chase his sister 😂

I also just wanted to let you know that there were some photos that couldn't be posted because they were identifying images.
