Thanks @soul Only some pain, although it's probably been there for some time. It's directly caused by my 3 major bowel surgeries. The wound split, when they took the staples out too early (they said). They wouldn't re-staple it, & instead a massive wide scar formed over it (& 25cm long). So that's where the hernia is - very upsetting. Referral through the public system could take over 12 months. The Dr said if it get much worse, I shall have to go to emergency. Adge

Perhaps you could start your own thread on the LE side about managing medical concerns along with your cPTSD etc.  Could be a helpful discussion for others.
