I know with the 2 kg @Emelia8 ☺️  When I heard that I was grateful that I'd had it done. There were times I felt a bit guilty about having it done, wondering if I deserved it to be a medically covered procedure but the surgeon was really positive about it. I'd been on the waiting list 4 years and the surgery list for 12 months so it was a long time coming but I'd have to say worth it at this point and I think maybe deserved as a medical procedure.

Really glad the surgery went well @Teej. Don't get too carried away trying to do things too early. Give yourself time to rest and heal .And it's nice to hear you have that new found appreciation for your body too.

Re: the drains? As long as they were under 40mls in the 24hours prior to discharge is ok to remove and send you home.

I did see your post notification when you sent it, but just struggling big time being here in the forums for all sorts of reasons. Not sure when I can come back, as each time I do, it seems I find more reasons to stay away.
