The support line cycle

The support line cycle

I have advocated for myself for leaving dv for si. I am nightly praying this is my last sleep and no one cares. I get thrown from one service to another and no one can help but give me the number for a service I've already tried.  I'm at a loss , what are you meant to do when you can't get help? And I have a community sw but I swear she is ai because she has no emotions and doesn't seem to understand the weight of my daily struggle.

Re: The support line cycle

Yeah I realised it's been a year of please let help come and now I've  realised it's evidently not happening so hey just let this be my last sleep cheer

Re: The support line cycle

i can't imagine how frustrating and exhausting it is to be told that, and receive little to no support in return. @Former-Member please know that you are worthy of support, you deserve to be heard and seen. i can hear that you're struggling a lot at the moment, i just wanted to check if you're able to stay safe tonight? is there anyone you can reach out to?

unfortunately the forums isn't a crisis service so if you feel you need immediate support, please reach out to:

we're sitting with you @Former-Member 💙

Re: The support line cycle

Thank you the rate of safety is irrelevant cos I hav tried all those avenues today. It's fine I guess this is why people have addictions cos they try to do it night and can't get the help so need to just escape the pain

Re: The support line cycle

@Former-Member i hear you, and i'm really glad you've reached out to those support lines. i know it might not seem like much but reaching out to them takes a lot of strength, and please don't hesitate to reach out to them as much as you need.

i can understand why you'd want to escape the pain, we all need a break sometimes. are there any activities or strategies that have helped distract or calm you in the past? perhaps watching a favourite movie, grounding/breathing exercises, journaling, or working on something creative? i know that this doesn't stop the pain, but hopefully it can help take your mind off it for a bit?

i know it feels like a lot right now, but you're not alone. i'm here to keep you company 💙
