Re: Not sure what to do !!!

Oh @Shaz51 these are such big questions to be faced with 💛

I hope you know deep in your heart that you have been an amazing support for you mum, and an advocate for her too. I can only imagine she knows that better than we here do, but it's so clear to us all. You should feel a sense of pride in being the kind of person who shows up for others and can provide the care that you do. It's not a trait that is common to all, it's a true strength.

Re: Not sure what to do !!!

@Former-Member , there is no permanent care beds at the hospital at the moment

But mum can stay in hospital for up to 30 days before deciding anything

I have applied for home help with some services if she is able to come back home

Soo have to see what happens xx

It is very difficult when parents get old @Shaz51  I’m really sorry to hear that. I’ve lost both parents. Tragic circumstances. Sending love and hugs to you

Re: Not sure what to do !!!

@Shaz51, I haven't known you long, but like @Former-Member said, I can see you've been such an amazing advocate for your mum and her needs. She's lucky to have you ❤️

You said the waiting is hard, and that is totally understandable with everything going on. How have you coped with waiting like this before? Is there anything in your toolkit to help our over the next few days?

I'm waiting on some news at the moment too and my mind always lists out every possible scenario. Something which helps me is "checking the facts" like, how possible is the worst outcome or realising I actually can't do anything or make a decision until I get this piece of news. I don't know if that might help in this case?

Thinking of you,
