🗓 SANE events to take part in next month:
🔦 Spotlight on:
On the 28th June we celebrated Pride Month with our Connection and Growth Topic Tuesday event where we invited community members to join us for this lived experience discussion exploring growing from difficult circumstances and connecting with the LGBTQIA+ community.
We also celebrated World Environment Day with a discussion around how members connect with nature in their recovery.
🎊 SANE news:
In June SANE relaunched with a refreshed brand and a new look for the forums. We’re now known as SANE, not SANE Australia, and we are bold, bright and unapologetic! Our new brand also sees a new tagline: We’re people just like you.
We want SANE's new look to make people stop and think. And to consider whether we need to learn to be more comfortable with difference as a society – to push boundaries and make space for people living with complex mental health issues.
To find out more, and/or to provide your feedback, please head over to this thread.
🌸 Quote of the month:
“I remember that I’ve been here many times before, and that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Things will be ok, and things will ease.” - @Thekindone
