Hey @tyme
Im not doing so good. I can’t mask at work so that’s not a good thing.
These are the resin coasters! I need more practice!
How are you?

Thanks for understanding @Jynx
I would never intentionally offend anyone. Thats not me.
Im very open minded and would never discriminate. I’m just very inquisitive and like to understand the different whelms of life.
Im happy for you to educate me if my words are misplaced. I would rather that.
On a lighter note check this out
Is this a mirror? It's amazing!

Amazing @Captain24 !
I'd LOVE to know how to use resin. Did you use UV drying resin? Or the one that needs to blow torch?
Keyrings as gifts would be nice.
Also, resin table top or something! @Glisten might make the table legs for you!

Yes it’s a mirror. @tyme The mirror is about the size of a shaving mirror and the mosaic is around it. The kit said where to put the mosaics. After a few kits I’ll try my own! See oh I can be creative because I’m not really.
The resin just dried it needed to be in a temperature of 23 degrees so I just put them on my kitchen bench and set my air con.
I’ll do the key-rings later.
I just got the resin kits from spotlight and it was easy. I just had to mix two chemicals but they said what measurements. It doesn’t take long. You can give it a go. That kit was easy.
I’ve got a coloured kit coming with coaster moulds so I’ll see how that looks and how to do it. Then I might make a resin chopping board. I need to take time so I don’t overload like I have with diamond art and LEGO. I have to order it on line.

Cool! I never thought of Spotlight! I looked at Kmart, then looked online for all these super expensive resin materials... @Captain24
I'll look at Spotlight next 🙂 When I get there lol.
I somehow just really like resin. A colleague of mine from a few years back used a cricut to create this name plaque and then poured resin over it. It looked awesome! It would be great to put seashells or something in the resin too!
How exciting!

@tyme @Captain24 Timber furniture legs? You can order them online from Bunnings. Or people disposing of furniture, council Tip Shop 🙌🏼 Those places are gold 👍🏼
I’d charge you half a week’s pay to turn them on a lathe 😆

I really want to do the colours but I’m not sure I’m creative enough. @tyme.
When I get around to them I’ll post them even if they are bad!
I actually need a bedside table in one of my guest rooms. I kinda want to get a cheap flat pack from Kmart and have a go at doing resin on the top. But I do t know how I would go. I need lots more practice but it’s only a spare room so
it wouldn’t matter.

I have absolutely NO idea how to do it. And I reckon I'd be too scared of the mess I'd make...
You know what? I was doing the laundry the other day and got a scoop of laundry powder from the 3-4 kg bucket... guess what? I dropped the WHOLE bucket completely upside down...
So yeah, mess is getting drawn to me at the moment. I reckon I'm going to have to park these grand ideas of mine for a while (until this clumsiness phase passes) @Captain24
But yes, I'd LOVE to see what you make 🙂 Have a look at some of pics you google. They look so cool!
I bought my niece a nano tape set. She's been making an absolute mess. I'm just walking away. She's making bubbles, cubes, fidgets....

You get a big plastic sheet to do it on @tyme. So that limits some mess!
A bucket of washing powder.. that would have been a nice mess to clean up!
Things are turning south pretty quickly
