Re: Tabaluga's

Hey @StuF @TAB ,

Things have been pretty full on on my side of the world. My nibblings have only just returned to school. School holidays are always outta whack a bit.

@TAB , what exactly are RSLs supposed to do? I've go no idea. I haven't heard many people have much to say about RSLs, so I'm interested.

@StuF , have you been working or getting up to anything much?

Re: Tabaluga's

not wat I expect them to ? more of a local club than anything with emphasis on local (not me) and club (not me) Its been my only attempt at integrating w locals @wolf Creek where I live now lol @tyme  seems to have failed.

Re: Tabaluga's

Hey @tyme

Sounds like school holidays are not exactly a holiday for @tyme ? lol

I've been working at Lifeline (in their book division) since the end of last year. It is going well. Quite physical work, which I like. And they pay me, which is always nice!

Am trying to envisage a longer term plan/goal but am grateful to be in my current position

Oh, and the AFL season is underway! Woohoo!

Re: Tabaluga's

Hrmmm... interesting. I've honestly never understood their place except when I was a kid, I remember I used to 'go to the RSL' for food @TAB . I'm guessing I was at the bistro within the RSL?

Re: Tabaluga's

Good point @TAB . Thanks for sharing!

Um... to my shame, I only just realised what RSL stands for after reading your post...

It's an interesting concept, but I feel maybe a lot of other people have no idea about RSLs too? I don't even know where there is one around me... oops. I really should look into this more.

@StuF , getting paid is always helpful. Gives a sense of independence I guess? A sense of meaning and purpose?
