Ive made  a mistake and i dont know how to correct it. Do you think you guys could give me a hand?

I can try and help @outlander. What's happening that you think is a mistake?

For my aunts blanket shea got the 2 colours. Blue and white and the blanket is a large granny square. The pattern wouldve been 3 blue 3 white 3 blue etc but last night i musnt have been paying attention cause this morning when i picked it up ive done 2 white and then done the magic knot and started the blue.
Now i dont know how to fix it... im a few hrs work into it so it stands out quite abit
Do you think its better to start again?

The yarn im using i tried to weave in the ends but they kept slipping out so i went with the knot instead so the ends wouldnt come out all the time

Is there anyway you could make the 2 white part of the pattern from now on @outlander? As in keep going but with 2 white 3 blue maybe for a few rounds. Then you could do 1 white 3 blue for a few rounds, ending on all blue.

That's about the only thing I can think of aside from unraveling it. I would probably take a big breath, say a huge grrr and start from the oopsies though.

Im not she would like it @CheerBear shes been extremely fussy. This was the 4th mind change so im abit weary of asking. It wouldnt be big enough i dont think as i havent done enough to make it look like a proper pattern. The yarns only 8ply with a 4mm hook too so its slow to work with but thats what she wants.

Looks like i might need to do a big grr and do it again 😣 lesson learnt. Do not crochet when tired!

Sometimes I feel like I undo as much as I am doing @outlander 😏 Sucks but I think sometimes it is worth it for the finished product.

Sorry to hear Aunt is being really fussy. I cant imagine being like that if someone was making something for me.

Lol @CheerBear yes! Ive had to undo quite abit too. Or i stop after i finish the round and start again.
I think ive got the patter of the rainbow blanket ingrained which is 2 rounds of each colour. Yes your right itll be worth it for the end result its just been frustrating having to start again. I started another blanket but got a ways into it before she said its not right so im just going to continue i till the yarn cakes done and should be big enough for at least a lap blanket so can donate or give to someone else.

At least the yarn ive brought wont go to waste. I can make beanies and scarves now 😏 ill have to make a set to show here as the others have been shared everywhere.

Woohoo with the beanies and scarves @outlander! You're flying along! I don't have many places/people to share my stuff with but I am still pretty careful with my pics here.

I have almost finished my Harry Potter square and am really happy with it. I have done Dumbledore and Hermione as well but want to re-do Hermione as it is a bit out of shape (plus I found a different pattern I like more 😉).

Looking forward to seeing any pics you share.

Wonder if anyone else has any crafty news or projects happening?

im here looking for ideas either Christmassy or not to do with and old pendant light. I am thinking of a candle holder but am looking for ideas of ways to cover it and still have a nice glow to it when a lit candle is in it.
