I was a private child care provider for years @Former-Member 

I can not have any children of my own but then became a step mum 

Nearly all the children I looked after are on Facebook and having children of their own 🥰

And I am glad you got to be a step mum. A mum is a mum, no matter how you got there xx

What made you stop doing childcare?

Did childcare from the age of 18 until I was 43 years old 

Too many Government rules and regulations and paperwork @Former-Member

Yep, a lot of jobs working with children these days have been more about having to prove you do your job or how to minimise incidents than actually doing it!  it seems insane, especially when you are working with little people who move in a fast paced environment. If you stop to write something up, the moment has gone and the child as well! 

what are your plans for tomorrow?

Plans for tomorrow is  a 4 hour cleaning job in the morning 

Then to go food shopping 

And then clothes shopping for my mum who is in aged care

Sorry I missed your message last night. 

I spent the day quietly fixing a few things around the house. I learned how to rewire a fly screen today! The hardest part was working out how to get the screen itself through my narrow hallway and out onto the verandah so I could fix it.

How did you go with your clothes shopping? Did you get to take them to your mum yet?

Yep work done , food shopping done, clothes done but have not taken them to mum yet 

We bumped in D1 while shopping 😀
