@Shaz51 , sorry to hear about your MIL. I have been there when I was too opened with someone and they just used it as ammunition. It's sad but unfortunately there are people like this. I hope whatever it is, it simmers down and there is no drama. I guess the best thing for me has been to de-escalate and then not trust that person in that way again.  Hope you and Mr Shaz are both OK and this doesn't continue to affect you. You are a strong lady! You can do this!
