I keep on starting...making a mess

then piling mess up in a new pile..

supposed to be doing today

but not feeling the best so am going to lay down and read to try and settle the mindless mind

Younger Daughter has been decluttering some of her stuff. I've been secondary-sorting it into stuff that's worth giving away and stuff that's not. And I've been doing a bit of the same with some of the clothes sitting around here.

I have to do little bits or I get overwhelmed. Having said that, each little bit gives me a sense of satisfaction.

Thank you for the invitation..

Started on Sunday afternoon as was far too windy in garden again 

Achieved filling the hallway with boxes bags Christmas decorations 

Then husband decided to put some decorations on highest shelf which I cannot reach..  ???

others still in bags in hall 

so after disagreement..he went off in a huff..could here loud sounds coming from computer 👨‍💻 

Adrenaline kicked in and I put all hall decorations together 

gathered more for op shop

cleaned other shelves moving things to linen cupboard 

whole pile of towels for op shop

items from pantry relocated to cleaned out kitchen drawers

items on pantry floor relocated to utility room on shelf

husband reappeared all items for Christmas 🎄 on top shelf that I cannot reach

guess who puts 🌲 together and decorates

advised husband too tired to cook or eat.. we had pizza

back to hoovering dusting. 

son-in-law and wife arrived for morning coffee. Still hoovering 

They left finished domestics

You her son coming for dinner

made beef stroganoff with pappardelle from scratch 

dishes still to be sorted 

I am writing on here about cleaning up and decluttering..

Tired..feels so good 😊

Hello all hopeful declutterers

My. Rust of energy in previous post came to a halt..

stuff for op shop pile still in bedrooms' hallway 

cat runs and jumps at it every ow and again

I have had 2 different offers from 2 friends to help which I thank them for and say yes would e lovely.  ..

I am just over everything and cannot cope with doing anything about it

As the Christmas shut down/ break period (for our family typical schedule) rapidly approaches, I have just finished compiling a list of the 'obvious' jobs I have been ignoring. Assigned an optimistic + realistic time score to each task and came up with 30 - 40 days work. Allowing for the fact that some days 1 small task will be more than enough. 

I need to make time for some self care (cycling, motocycycling, boating, family whatever... days ) amongst that so 😬

All a bit overwhelming... which is why it never happens. 

Time to make a shorter list.

When shorter list is done select one or 2 task from the big list for a new shorter list.
