Yes @Shaz51 it's just on 10 years now since Dad passed. He was 95. I still miss him sometimes. It was hard when my mother was so ill a few years earlier,  I moved in and did what I could but my mental and physical health were bad at the time, and I had almost no support. 

I hope Mr shaz can take you to see your mum soon, and the covid restrictions lift. Being with her you'll be able to see for yourself how she's coping and if she's still a bit confused. 

Hoping tomorrow is a bit brighter for you.

Ohh very shaken up tonight as we were nearly involved in 2 separate accidents because of a truck 😓😓

Hugs @Shaz51 it sounds very frightening for you and mr shaz. So glad you're OK. 

It's hard to stop thinking about a near-miss sometimes, it's like a loop on repeat.

Spoke to mum today , she is OK but I don't think she will be well enough to come home again

I'm very glad you caught up with her @Shaz51 . Yes you've been thinking for a while that she'll need to have continuing care. It seems very complicated to be between 3 different hospitals all with different teams and waiting lists but there's not much you can do, other than trust and hope... I hope she's well in herself and feeling a bit better.
